Kappa Alpha Theta

Epsilon Eta Chapter Centre College

Chapter History

Founded in 1980, Epsilon Eta Chapter at Centre College is committed to high scholarship, active service at Centre and in the Danville community and a well-rounded social life. Thetas also excel in the classroom, recently ranking in the top two of all groups on Centre's GPA report. Thetas are active philanthropists through participation with our national philanthropy, CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates). We strive to collaborate with other organizations on campus, and our chapter was recently recognized for our Excellence in Panhellenicism at Kappa Alpha Theta's Grand Chapter awards ceremony.

Centre Thetas are also involved in a range of extracurricular activities on Centre's campus. First and foremost, you will see Thetas serving others on Centre's campus, as well as in the local Danville community. Through the ELL After School Program, Best Buddies, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, and many more service programs, Centre Thetas give back to those in need. On top of our academic and service commitments, Kappa Alpha Theta is represented in eleven different sports teams at Centre.. Centre Thetas are also known for a great social life. Chapter events include fall and spring formals, as well as cookouts with other fraternities and sororities. Our two main philanthropy events include the Homecoming 5k in the Fall and Queso for CASA in the Spring. Thetas are known for their enthusiasm, campus involvement, and diversity. Centre Thetas develop strong friendships and loving memories that they will carry on into their adult life. For over 125 years, intelligent and compassionate women have called Kappa Alpha Theta their fraternity.

Through Theta, we have found a home away from home.
